We just semi-randomly picked a movie on Netflix streaming to watch. We ended up with Johnny Mnemonic. The first line in the title scroll is "Second decade of the 21st century" :)

Of course i don't know if this is actually the start of the second decade, or if that was last year (does the whole 2000/2001 thing apply to decades as well, or just centuries?) but it sure feels like the end of an era and the start of a new one. Probably because of... the movie 2010 :)

In other movie news, a couple days ago i convinced shelleycat to watch Spaceballs for the first time ever. She thought she wouldn't like it because she doesn't like Mel Brooks as an actor (i on the other hand never realized he was in the movie until she informed me about it =) but she ended up enjoying it, yay! (Especially the Alien spoof part =)

We also watched "Easy A", which was good. Then the next day we watched the commentary, which was also amusing.

We've also watched a couple other movies (most of which were kinda dumb "just to have something on tv" shows) and four or five hours of a Mythbusters marathon yesterday, and i've been playing a lot of "Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale."

I'm gonna be sad when i have to go back to work tomorrow and can't spend all day watching movies and playing video games anymore =P
