So while discussing the vampire thing with neonelephant at lunch i somehow discovered that he has never heard of, one of the most addictive sites on the internet. Like both Wikipedia and TVTropes it tends to lead to pretty severe cases of "just one more link" syndrome (I think Wikipedia needs to have a page that links to a TVTropes article that links to a article, just to see if it brings about the end of the world.) The best articles are the "Top X of something" kind, each of which has anywhere from four to six links to other articles at the end, which can easily lead to an ever expanding collection of browser tabs if you're not careful.

So in an attempt to save him (and anyone else who hasn't heard of it) from being safe, i thought i'd throw together a couple links to some of the better articles.

17 More Images You Won't Believe Aren't Photoshopped (Which also has links to the five previous articles they've done on that theme.)

The 6 Most Adorable Animals (To Ever Go On a Bloody Rampage)

7 Incredible Scientific Innovations Held Back by Petty Feuds

The 6 Cutest Animals That Can Still Destroy You

5 Famous Inventors (Who Stole Their Big Idea)

6 People You've Never Heard of Who Probably Saved Your Life

7 Books We Lost to History That Would Have Changed the World

7 Historical Figures Who Were Absurdly Hard To Kill

5 Things Hollywood Thinks Computers Can Do

6 Insane Coincidences You Won't Believe Actually Happened

and finally, if you want to see something _really_ bizarre, The 5 Most Baffling Sex Scenes in the History of Fanfiction

That's probably enough for now, though i could easily make a post several times as long, and i probably didn't even manage to dig up all the best ones.

Of course there's always the "Greatest hits" (aka "most viewed") page which has all the most popular articles (where "popular" may or may not equate to "good.")
