We're getting to the end of Season 3 of Battlestar. So do the people who've watched it think that Season 4 is worth picking up? (I seem to remember hearing some mixed opinions around the beginning of the season, but don't know what the current opinion is now that it's over.)

Spoilers for "Maelstrom" and prior:

So one of the unavoidable spoilery things from watching a show long after the air date is that i'm 99% sure that Starbuck appears in Season 4. This seems to indicate two possibilities:

1: She ejected and we just didn't see it, and was picked up by the Cylon raider. (It was hard to tell, but it looks like the last scene showing the Cylon ship was from Apollo's perspective, if the hole in Starbuck's canopy wasn't proof enough.)
2: She died, but she's a Cylon.

I really hope it's option number one, because it kinda subtracts from the whole "i finally conquered and overcame my long term psychological problems" achievement if those psychological problems were from an imaginary childhood.

I was a little peeved by "Dirty Hands" too. Once again we had a resource issue pop up out of nowhere. (At least this time they spent the first ten or so minutes developing it rather than the first five.) And it kinda stressed belief how the first two thirds of the episode the president and admiral were portrayed as being hard-line and unsympathetic to the workers and then suddenly flip-flopped right at the end.

I'd watch it, yes. The last episode (well the first half of it) kicks ass, and it's nice how they tie the final five in, as well as the opera house vision of Roslyn.

And neither option is correct about Starbuck. THAT I didn't approve of much.
