So anyone wanna make a guess as to how many calories there are in a Casa Playa crunchy taco? I gave into temptation on the way back from the beach =P I'm guessing 300-400, but don't have any significant basis for that. I also need to figure out how many calories are in a tortilla chip (had 30 of those.) Plus salsa of course, which hopefully doesn't count for much.

I know i'm way over for the day, but it would be nice to know exactly how much. Maybe i made up for it with rollerblading. Maybe. 5:02 or 5:05 or so to 6:45, 16 miles again. It was kind of cool out being late and all, and i don't know if it was that or if my energy levels just weren't right but i didn't sweat anywhere near as much as usual, which probably isn't a great sign. As annoying and icky as it is, at least when i sweat i know i'm getting work done =P

I don't know what Casa Play is (though if you Google casa play crunchy taco, you get this post :-) ), but Taco Time says its ground beef tacos have 225 calories (no sour cream, not sure about cheese), and Taco Bell says 170 (cheese, ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes). Sour cream adds 40-50 calories.

Chips are probably 200-300 calories, maybe? I'm not quite sure how many 30 chips are, "serving"-wise, but it seems like it might be a bit more than 1, though probably less than 2.

As best as i can figure, the Casa Playa crunchy tacos are made by taking a small flour tortilla, putting some meet and cheese inside, and then frying the whole thing on a flat metal stovetop (griddle? hot plate? whatever) until it's moderately hard and crunchy (but not brittle like taco shells! =) Once it's done they add some lettuce and that's it. So no sour cream, but the cheese and especially the oil has to be adding some calories.

The bag of chips from Chipotle was about 450 calories i think, though i'm not sure if that was more or less than 30 chips.
