Oh Yay! I'd completely forgotten about the lunar eclipse tonight, (interesting that the wiki article for the day is the Moon, but it doesn't mention the eclipse in the blurb that shows up on the front page) but i just happened to get up in time to catch the tail end of it :) Pretty much all of the tail "end" actually, it's still almost in totality, with only a tiny sliver of white having come out yet. Yay!
Edit: The power lines next to this apartment run along both the east and the south sides, so right under where the moon is at this point. I hadn't realized until now that in addition to being able to hear them at night you can also see sparks jumping off of them.
Talk about combining the celestial and the profane :)
