It turns out there are certain parts of showering and toweling yourself dry afterward, namely those involving your feet or lower legs, which are a hell of a lot more difficult if you're unable to stand on one foot without propping yourself up against something :) I think i'm going to take a pass on trying to load a bunch of stuff into my car this morning. I wonder how long it takes blisters to heal?

if you don't drain/pop them? forever and a day...

but if you do pop/drain them, they sting...but then they dry out and heal...

but then there's the 3rd option of not doing anything, and they pop...which hurrrtttss, and is messy. the it sticks to your sock and kills when you get a chance to take off your socks and shoes...

it's a personal decision ^^

Forever seems to be about three days, they're all good now :)

I considered doing the popping thing but they'd gotten enough better by the end of the first day that i decided to stick it out.

you got lucky, heheh.

i once got a blister while walking around a mall with friends, wearing new shoes. i coudln't wait to get the shoes off...but just as i got out of the car when we got home, i managed to step funny, and the shoe burst the blister...i swear it took half my heel with it!

gross, and painful. ^^;
