iyindo's done a much better commentary about it than i could.That does remind me though, i've recently discovered that i don't mind at all if someone says that i'm not aggressive enough, not assertive enough, or not masculine enough. However if they tell me, or anyone else for that matter, that i/they "need to grow a pair of balls," i will get seriously pissed at them. Even the claim that i'm not assertive enough for a guy is somehow far less infuriating then the blatant implication that assertiveness is somehow intrinsically linked to the male anatomy and becoming more assertive is synonymous with becoming "more" male, or at least having more of the bits that identify one as a male.
