Went down to the new apartment last night and hung out with coraa and jmpava while getting the living room sorted out. About 99% of my DVDs, games and manga/comics have now been unpacked and mostly organized. Yay! It's too bad that that was just the easiest and most fun stage of the whole moving process. I've stil got 16 boxes of books sitting in the bedroom waiting to be unpacked and sorted, not to mention who knows how much more stuff back at the old apartment waiting to be packed up and moved. The few pieces of furniture i'm actually planning on keeping will probably get moved later, so right now i'm at the "stupid useless crap" stage of packing. Not that the stuff is actually useless, or i could throw it all away, which is what you tend to feel like doing after staring at a pile of it and trying to figure out how in hell you're going to get it packed into a box in an even remotely organized fashion, and knowing that once it arrives at its new location it will most likely sit there for months or possibly even years before you figure out what to do with it =P

On a random note, it seems that i have about 115 "individual" DVD cases of "normal" movies. (A few of the cases had more than one DVD, but i wasn't willing to open each case and check.) I also have about 100 (105? 110?) "individual" anime DVDs, which puts me significantly short of 2gouda4u and thegreatgonz's guestimated count (about 300 i believe?) However i've also got a lot of box sets which i haven't counted at all and i have no idea how much they total up to.

But anyways, i got at least some stuff done, and got to hang out with people, and coraa even made yummy food! Yay! :)

Which matters a lot, because He Who Dies With the Most Toys Wins.

Also, there are two of them and one of you.

No, it doesn't matter a great deal, but i'm a great one for organizing and counting and comparing things, up until i get bored and go do something else anyways :)

I don't think we buy DVDs like two people, though... maybe like 1.2 people : )

Anyway, we're all way behind our (Geoff and my, that is) parents, who have approximately 2.3 million DVDs/Laserdisks (or so it seems).
