Rest of weekend

Went to Saca's in the village for dinner saturday, then played lots of Tales of Symphonia. Which decided to be evil by having a typical dungeon with a typical boss, and then ambushing me on the way back to the savepoint with a _second_ boss =P Gave up on that after getting slaughtered the first time and started reading "Weapons of Choice," which is kind of like the movie The Final Countdown, but with an entire carrier group from 2020 and they don't have any way to return to the future. So really sort of The Final Countdown crossed with SM Stirling's Island in the Sea of Time trillogy. (Not so coincidentally i first heard about the book on the SM Stirling mailing list =)

Sunday morning went and did a lot of recycling. Got a little over $14 for 355 cans and bottles. Went down to 2gouda4u and thegreatgonz's place in the afternoon and jmpava and coraa joined us to watch some anime. We couldn't decide what to watch in particular though so we ended up doing a survey course of series that jmpava and/or coraa hadn't seen yet. Got through about two episodes of His & Her Circumstances, two episodes of Last Exile, and... four or five episodes of Ranma? Finished the first disk in any case. Came home and played some more Symphonia. Made it through the dual bosses on my second try before going to bed.
