Just finished up The Guns of Avalon. Usually omnibuses are nice, however i'm not sure a 10 book, 1258 page softcover volume is the best idea. Might be better if it were two five book volumes (which would be thematically good as well.) Not sure if i'd prefer it in hardback or not. Normally i like paperbacks, but once the book grows to a certain size hardback does have some advantages.

So far i haven't found any major inconsistencies, or even minor ones that i've noticed, which is pretty suprising given all the stuff going on. The only thing i'm not sure of is exactly how much they know about the court of chaos at this point. They've refered to it, but given how little they actually seem to know i wonder how they know the right name by which to call it.

Hung out with Morna some today. Watched DragonHalf and got some ice cream to eat afterwards. She suggested a novel possibility for moving up to washington if and when it happens. I'd already been considering dumping some of furniture that i don't really need or can easily replace. Morna suggested going a step further, and ditching all the furniture that doesn't fit in my car, driving up with as much as i can, and mailing the rest of the small stuff up in boxes.

Could conceivably save me quite a bit of money any effort, however the idea bothers me a little. I tend to get attached to places and things. I'm already ditching the place, ditching tv, couch, tables, etc, as well seems like a bit much. Have to think about it.
