When i first got to the theatre area there were still lots of empty seats, so i went to find some food. Got some "Australian Battered Potatoes"
Sat in the bleachers and ate potates and waited for the concert to start.
Two cute girls sat down next to me and we talked for a little bit before the show started.
Show was cool :)
Afterwards i hung out with the two people i'd met for a little bit. One of them was was kind of fun to talk to, but she had blonde hair, which is only a medium minus, but she also had what i think were plucked eyebrows, or at least that's the only thing i can think of that explains the mutantness of them.
The other was a lot cuter, dark hair, reasonable eyebrows :) She was kind of ditzy, which can be either a good thing or a bad thing. (There are people who are silly cause they know life is just too short to take very seriously, and there are people who are silly cause they don't know any better)
However at one point she asked me if i was into d&d, because that's something most programmer types are into, and when i said yes to that she asked the same thing about science fiction, and i got the impressions he wasn't really into either of them.
I didn't actually ask about her interests in those regards, since i kind of wanted an excuse to not have to go through the ordeal of figuring out how to ask them for contact info. And it's just as well, at the moment i'm not really that interested in finding anyone else to be attracted to. (Although admittedly, someone who was local to me would be a plus)
I did find out from them though that there are a few more concerts i might be interested in going to. I've heard of B-52s, Styx, and the Hearts be before, i just need to figure out which songs each of them do, and whether i like any of those sets of songs enough to bother going. Concerts are certainly a nice excuse for getting out of work early now that that's feasible. I'm definitely planning on going to one of the Weird Al ones.
