darkness

How is it that after getting three or four hours of sleep last night and feeling really tired in the evening i can fall asleep for a three or so hour nap and wake up feeling totally rested? I _know_ that if i try to stay up at this point that i'll be dead at work tomorrow, but my body doesn't seem to want to go with the plan =P
