So while looking at the picture and considering my choices in light of the poll results, i suddenly realized that the black phone with the blue accents kind of looks like something out of Tron! Which is definitely cool, but that then got me reconsidering what i'm going to get inscribed on the back. Do i want to stick with "Tannhauser Gate II"? Or do i want to get something Tron themed?
Which of course means it's time for another poll :)
What kind of inscription should i get?
Which of these seem like good inscriptions?
Which is the _best_ inscription?
If you picked something with two options feel free to leave a comment with your preference for the two. Or of course about any other thoughts about the choices, including new suggestions that i haven't thought of yet :)
Here's some background on some of the options:
Tron vs TRON: There doesn't seem to be a consistent interpretation on if the all-caps version is how it's actually spelled, or just how it's drawn on the title screen and posters and such.
Greetings Programs vs Greetings Program: "Greetings Programs" is from the movie, but if i'm imagining my phone is addressing me, maybe it should just be singular
Flynn's Arcade: Very appropriate for something i'll probably play more than a few games on :)
The Game Grid: Same idea as Flynn's Arcade, but doesn't sound quite as cool to me
Flynn: I'm not 100% sure about using a person's name for my phone.
Son of Flynn: This would make more sense if my first phone had been named "Flynn", but it sounds cooler than just "Flynn"
Quorra: If i do go with naming it after a person, naming it after a cute girl certainly isn't a bad option. Although it might cause some confusion the next time i'm hanging out with coraa :)
End of Line: Certainly a memorable quote, but putting that on an electronic device may be asking for trouble :)
the game has changed: This one only works in lowercase, putting in uppercase pushes it just slightly over the width limit
I Fight For the Users: I'm surprised this actually fits, especially with caps. Not sure if i should leave it like that, or capitalize "the", or uncapitalize "Fight For"
I was also considering "There's A 68.71% Chance You're Right", but that goes _way_ over the size limit, regardless of how it's capitalized or not. Also it's a relatively obscure quote, unless you also happen to be a fan of Hex Rx's awesome and stompy Tron themed "My Eyes Are Red" song :)
