Okay, WTH?
Every day this week i have woken up without having to hit snooze. In a couple cases i've even woken up 10-15 minutes before my alarm was set to go off. As opposed to almost every other day of the last couple months (at least) where i've hit snooze for an hour. Or two. Or occasionally even three.

As far as i can tell nothing else about this week is particularly unusual, so although it's great it's also somewhat confusing and slightly frustrating. It's like some magical switch got flipped on in my brain and i have no idea how, or how long it will last, or how i could make it happen again in the future =P

How often do you have a rigorously enforced schedule, e.g. going to sleep at almost exactly the same time? It's possible that you're just settling into a circadian rhythm, and the tighter you keep your rhythms (going to sleep at the same time every night), the better you'll get. You can also help along the whole "waking up without an alarm clock" thing by making sure you get enough sleep. So, tightly enforced schedule + getting enough sleep for some people is sufficient to wake them without an alarm clock.

Hmm, according to Sleep for Android and rounding off to 15 min increments, my sleep schedule for the past week has been:

Fri night: 1:30 am - 9:30 am
Sat night: 1:45 am - 8:30 am
Sun night: 11:45 pm - 5:15 am
Mon night: 9:45 pm - 4:15 am
Tue night: 10:45 pm - 4:00 am
Wed night: 12:30 am - 6:00 am
Thu night: 11:30 pm - 4:30 am
last night: 11:45 pm - 8:30 am

I'm not sure if that's more or less regular than usual or if it counts as "rigorously enforced" or not.

I'm not sure i'd want to try and make it any more regular than that though, i might be at risk of becoming... normal! ;)
