So that's fairly normal. But then
And since i was already in the area, i decided to check out Ruin at it's new time and spot. Apparently the managers of the Monte Cristo decided they wanted to try out a different club for saturday nights, so Ruin got booted. They've had to move from there to "La Fonda" and switch from saturday nights to tuesday nights. (I guess the Monte Cristo already had something on tuesdays as well?)
I got there about 10:30, while things were just getting started. It seems to be a decent venue, though i don't like it quite as much as the Monte Cristo. I stayed there until they closed at 2, dancing a fair bit of the time. I even managed to stumble into a conversation with a fairly cute girl for awhile :)
The trip home was slightly complicated by having to pull over for a caravan of emergency vehicles to go by, and then the first on-ramp to the freeway i tried was closed, but there was a detour! Which led me to another closed on-ramp. But there was a detour! Which led me to another closed on-ramp. I think the fourth on-ramp was actually working, but it might have been the fifth. After that though it was pretty clear sailing home.
Got back about 3. Got to sleep around 3:30 or 4, and got up sometime between 6 and 7 or 7:15. (Hard to be sure given the amount of snoozing i did.)
Then today i found out there were food trucks within walking distance of work for lunch and i got two crepes and some garlic fries, and probably undid all the exercise from the past two days =P
