Steam is doing their usual kind of sale. A ton of different games at varying discounts. (Ironically the title i'm initially most interested in is Ticket to Ride... which is a new release that isn't actually on sale. Also, i'm kind of annoyed with the company because they refuse to make an Android version of the game.) It looks like most of those sales end June 2nd. (Hmm, are they then going to do another special sale for the week of E3 immediately thereafter?)
There's also a collection of indie game makers who've gotten together to create "Because We May". They've got a big list of games on sale either directly through that site or via the other usual sites. I'm happy because they have a large Android selection along with the Win Mac and iOS games, though i'm actually kind of hesitant to buy any because it almost seems a little too cheap to wait for a sale before picking up a bunch of games from indie developers when they were all $5 or less to begin with. Because We May runs till June 1st.
Finally Amazon is doing another one of their gold box/lightning deal game days again. The gold box deal is 50% off of Prototype 2. The lightning deals are:
6:00 AM - Cyberbike for the Nintendo Wii
8:00 AM - "24 action-packed mini-adventures that will get the whole family moving with jungle, western, underwater, flying and snow themes"
10:00 AM - "Enter the cocoon"
12:00 - "Created for the serious blade-fight enthusiast, nothing replicates the adrenaline-inducing arcade experience better than the Arcade FightStick"
2:00 - "Attempt to single-handedly destroy an army of monsters and evil spirits in this free-roaming cel-shaded action/adventure!"
4:00 - "Explore Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms like never before."
6:00 - "This limited edition RPG bundle is a true collector's item for the PS3!"
8:00 - "The definitive headset for gamers seeking amazing game sound, crystal-clear communication and enhanced comfort all at an unmatched value"
Clearly i need to get up to date on my recent game knowledge again, because i have no idea what any of those are.
