Piles of Shame

I have far too much stuff in my backlog.

Here is the list of stuff i'm currently doing

Listening to: Suzanne Collins - Mockingjay
Reading: Mira Grant/Seanan McGuire - Deadline
Playing: Disgaea 4 (PS3), Brutal Legend (PS3) Edgeworld (G+) Zombie Lane (G+)
Watching: Backlog of Once Upon a Time. Backlog of Colbert Report and Daily Show.

Here is the very incomplete list of things i own but haven't gotten around to yet:

Started but not finished:

Minecraft (I know you can't really finish it, but i haven't even tried out the "real" release yet)
Kingdom Hearts
Mario Kart 7
Puzzle Quest 2
Dragon Quest Monsters 2
Rock Band 3 (Still haven't tried all the songs or unlocked all the stuff yet.)
Red Faction Guerrilla
Super Mario Bros Wii
Little Big Planet (Haven't even finished the "main" game.)
Punch-Out Wii
Portal 2

Not even started:

Kingdom Hearts 2
Metroid Other M (Looking forward to the gameplay, dreading the story and sexism)
Kirby's Epic Yarn
Super Paper Mario
3D Dot Game Heroes
Muramasa The Demon Blade
Final Fantasy Four Heroes of Light
Radiant Historia
Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney
Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor Overclocked
Steambot Chronicles
FF 13-2
Ico/Shadow of the Colossus HD
God of War: Origins Collection

According to Steam i have bought exactly 400 games from them O_O
I have at least booted up 61 of those games.
I admit i have a problem where every time they have a sale if i see a game that's even mildly interesting and one sale for less than $5 i'll usually say WTH and grab it.
Some highlights of what i really ought to play though:
From Dust
King's Bounty

I "only" have 65 games on GOG.
Some highlights of that list:
Age of Wonders 1+2
Jagged Alliance
Fallout 2
Evil Genius
Planescape Torment

Seanan McGuire - Late Eclipses
David Weber - A Rising Thunder
Wen Spencer - Elfhome
Karl Schroder - Queen of Candesce
Charles Stross - On Her Majesty's Occult Service
Ben Bova - Asteroid Wars
Rachel Neumeir - The Griffin Nave Trilogy
L E Modesitt Jr - Legacies
Ian M Banks - Look To Windward
Ian M Banks - Inversions
Alastair Reynolds - Galactic North
Alastair Reynolds - House Of Suns
Eric Brown - The Kings Of Eternity

Audible Books:

Far too many to list, but the highlights are:

Robin Hobb - City of Dragons
Ellen Kushner - Swordspoint
Martha Wells - The Serpent Sea
John Scalzi, Jay Lake, Karl Schroeder, etc - METAtropolis
Fred Hoyle - The Black Cloud
Spider Robinson and Heinlein - Variable Star
A Wind from the South - Duane Duane
Cherie Priet - Boneshaker
Patrick Rothfuss - The Name of the Wind
Terry Pratchett - Nation
Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman - Good Omens
Harry Turtledove, SM Stirling, John Ringo, Jody Lynn Nye, etc - Exiled
Jasper Fforde - Something Rotten
Jasper Fforde - First Among Sequels

1UP Games Dammit
GameSpot HotSpot (which they've now apparently moved to some stupid video format)
Weekend Confirmed
GamePro Roleplayer's Realm (i'm so far behind that the website has been shut down and i haven't even started listening to the podcast yet =P)
Totally Rad Show

Other Web stuff:

Homestar Runner (Yes, i know it's pretty much dead, but there's a lot i haven't gotten through yet.)
Zero Punctuation
Extra Credits
Experienced Points
Geek and Sundry (It's barely even started, but i haven't watched any of it yet, so on the list it goes =)

Blogs: (Okay, i'm not planning on going back and reading all the old posts, but i really ought to figure out some way to stay current)

Twenty Sided
and probably others that i'm probably forgetting about

Thundercats (fell off the bandwagon at the mid-season break)
Avatar the Last Airbender
Gurren Lagann
Code Geass
Naruto (Okay, i don't actually own this one, but i've been going through it on Hulu/Netflix)
Transformers Beast Wars
The Twelve Kingdoms
Samurai Champloo
Pumpkin Scissors
Giant Robo
Fate/Stay Night
Battlestar Galactica (the last season)
Veronica Mars

Antihero For Hire
Order of the Stick
Schlock Mercenary

And that's without being very thorough about going through my DVD shelves, and i didn't even bother checking for old PS2 or GameCube games i never started/finished, and there are a lot more books on my shelves that i haven't read, that's just the list of relatively new ones that i'm intending to get to =P
