Listen up UI designers

Here's a note to all developers. You should _never_ have a single key shortcut that exits the current application without even a prompt. Yes, i'm talking to you Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 team and your fricking Esc key shortcut! =P

Really, a single key to exit is a poor idea. Exiting something without prompting where there could be unsaved information that would be lost is a very poor idea. Combining both is just plain bad. Combining them both using a key sticking out on the corner of the keyboard where it can easily be bumped while reaching around to get at something else (like straightening out some cords) and not even providing any way to turn off the behaviour is a colossally bad idea!
