The new register person at the place we usually go for lunch on wednesday's was wearing a shirt that on second glance was a Tootsie Pop shirt. At first glance however the most apparent thing about it was "How Many Licks?" written in a large font across her breasts. I'm not quite sure what to think about that, or rather i'm not quite sure what _she_ thought about that. I mean, if she understands the... associations that are almost inevitably going to jump into some people's heads and is okay with that, that's great. Though if so that's not really a shirt i would choose to wear to work if i were a girl.

Actually, i'm not 100% sure if it said "How Many Licks?" or "How Many Licks Does It Take?" I read it, my brain went "huh?" and then upon closer (hopefully circumspect) inspection i could see the little Tootsie Pop owl, kind of hidden beneath the large text and the... er, overhang, at which point it made a certain amount of sense. I thought "i ought to remember that to mention later," but now when i try to think back though all i see in my head is "How Many Licks?" It seems like "How Many Licks Does It Take?" would make a little more sense product placement-wise though. I'm not sure if they condensed the phrase to save horizontal space, or if they used the whole phrase but my brain is just segfaulting as soon as it gets to "Licks" =P

Just for the record, depending on the situation I would consider wearing a shirt like that (although maybe not so much to a work type setting!), and would totally be aware of the, ah, associations.

Well like i said, as long as you're aware of the associations, that's great! :)

*cough*though right now it's probably just as well that i've never actually seen a picture of you*cough*
