Can I have coffee?
I've just been reminded that "Hoodwinked" is totally awesome. In fact, i think i may need to add it to the list of movies i can have running in the background while working on other stuff. I really ought to expand that list actually. The only things on it that i can think of off the top of my head are "Fifth Element," "Knight's Tale", "Emperor's New Groove," and "Galaxy Quest."

Anyone got any suggestions? Or for that matter any movies you use for the same purpose even if they're ones you think i might not be interested in?

*currently watching "Fifth Element," synchronized with shelleycat* :)

I used to use "Shrek," "Shrek 2" and various episodes of MST3K, but both of those were borrowed and are therefore no longer available to me.

Sometimes Disney movies -- the ones that were playing in the theater when I was the target audience: The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King.

And Bridget Jones' Diary, but I really doubt that'd be your thing. :D

harry potter, LOTR, don't demand that I watch them anymore, but they're still fun when I do. Galaxy Quest, yep. Most any light/romantic comedy will do, even formulaic ones, especially if its one of those blatant cross-marketing of contempoary music so it's more like a music video. Just about anything quietly British. Death at a Funeral with a hysterically acid-tripping Alan Tudyk is a current fave. Awesome visual effects makes for good accompaniment to working with two-tone text or code all day. The Mummy is great for this, as is Golden Compass. I don't usually like obnoxiously loud movies as background noise, but a taste of kick-ass heroine is nice, so up with T2, Aliens and Aliens Vs. Predator. :)
