Well they're finally calling Ohio for Clinton. The surplus of Obama votes in the cities that theoretically might have been coming in later never did. And after steadily climbing all night Clinton is now about 10,000 votes over Obama, out of about 1.2 million. Once again they're saying it's not over yet because there are some big population pro-Obama areas that are still in the process of being counted, but we saw how well that worked in Ohio. On the other hand at least he's not starting with a 20% deficit

I'd tell myself it doesn't matter regardless since it's the delegates that matter, and those are almost certainly going to be pretty even, but try telling that to the popular imagination and all the people who talk about momentum =P

It's a dumb argument no matter who's making it, but whoever is most able to claim it at the moment is always willing to try.
