So what should i have for thanksgiving diner... at Del Taco? :)

I'd consider someplace else, but In-n-Out is closed and i expect a lot of other fast food restaurants are too. Boston Market might be a good bet but i'm pretty sure thanksgiving day itself all they do is the pre-ordered dinner things. I have no idea if places such as Outback are open (though i kind doubt it) but i always feel weird going to sit down places by myself anyways.

:-( No plans? I'd invite you to join us up here, but we're scheduled to eat in 3 hours and I don't think you can make the drive that quickly.

Chinese is the traditional Thanksgiving/Christmas alternative. Many Chinese places have take out.

Yeah, wouldn't work too well unless i could teleport. Thanks for the thought though :)

If you feel like driving up to Santa Barbara, you could come have some homemade ravioli! :D

Hmmm, that's more tempting than SF, but would still be a lot of driving, and i'm feeling kind of lazy today since i'm going to be doing a lot of driving back and forth to LosCon over the weekend. Thank you though :)

You could get carry-out at Outback or the like if they're open (which they often are, for people who don't want to make dinner themselves...).

Oh hey! That's a good idea! I'll try that! :)

Yeah, I always forget that's an option, and then while I was recovering post-surgery, I realized that if I want Outback but can't/don't want to go to the restaurant, we could have it at home! Score! :)

Unfortunately the Outback here wasn't open for Thanksgiving, so i just went with Del Taco.

(And they didn't update their phone message to say they were closed, and instead let me sit there on hold with the recorded message insisting that someone would be with me soon for 20 minutes! Bastards! =P)

Many Marie Callendars (sp?) are open on T-day. They have a limited menu (turkey or ham dinners). Some have "bar areas" where it's easier for one or two people to eat.
