Weekend
gee, i haven't posted in awhile. Um, let's see, my weekend, watched some Stargate and Ranma (yay awesome roommate!) beat the OCC at Warlord in Civ4, StarCon2 is awesome, the Seahawks suck, (but what's new? =) having people to hang out with while watching the Seahawks suck and laughing at commercials and going "awwww" at the puppy bowl and kitten halftime show is awesome. So overall good weekend :)

The going back in to work on monday part sucks, though is certainly better than the alternative =P

Hey, the Seahawks were doing pretty darn good in the first half, except for that whole actually getting points thing. Of course, it didn't help that it seemed like about 50% of their good plays were negated by penalties.

I was totally traumatized by the Hummer ad. o_0

I also totally forgot about the puppy bowl this year. Ah well.

Yeah the Hummer ad started out cute, then gradually got more and more disturbing. I mean sure, we obviously remembered the ad, but don't we _already_ have enough bad associations with Hummers? =P

The puppy bowl was cute, the kitten halftime show was mindblowingly adorable :)

A lot of the others seemed rather upset by the various penalties and they explained them in ways that i guess kinda made sense, but i'm still confused on why you can shove someone sometimes but not others. I think it was the one where the guy almost caught the ball while getting tackled, which seemed like a catch 22 to me given what i'd been told (and no, i don't need it explained again, i've already gotten yelled at once for asking too many questions about it =P)

Actually I've decided it was just a bad call :->

better than the alternative

Hmm. I'm not so sure about that. I've been trying to hatch "get fabulously wealthy and never have to work again" plans. You interested? :)

Of course, but such things always work a lot better in theory than in practice :)
