This is so much fun!

Penguin Game!

Thanks to sillz for showing it to me =)

I've tried it once, and got 544,396, almost half of which was due to an amazingly lucky shot onthe last board =)

I may try again later, but I'm not sure I'm capable of practicing enough to get much better. I have a fairly good intuitive sense of physics, but being intuitive, it's something that's hard to work at and get better at.

this bites! i go to the site and i can read kevin's profile, but i can't play the game! all i get on that page is a big blank box in the middle of the page where i presume the game is meant to load. i tried another penguin's game and got the same result. i even upgraded my flash... sigh

i'm sure it's something silly with my netscape that's keeping it from working, but i'm far too down and tired to investigate it. ah well...

Re: waaaaaah
Mrow =( I'm sorry it's being dificult for you.

Hmmm, while loading it shows the shockwave logo, so try going to shockwave.com and getting the newest version there.

The problem is, some OS's don't have a shockwave port (linux, frex), as I discovered when I tried to show a friend how COOL this game was! You addiction-spreading person, you. Though I did get into a weird situation on Level 13 that ended up with multicolored spirograph-like oscillations all over it. :->

You don't look familiar, how did you end up here?

Yeah, I had a lot of those situations, including the one that actually got me some points =)

Was it a permenant oscilation? Or did it eventually run into something?

Long story
I was doing interest-surfing, I think on Phil Foglio, and ended up after many chainsteps on akiko's big long involved 35-comments entry about abortion and responsibility, from July. You commented there. I checked out your userinfo page, then your journal, and here I am. :->

Re: Long story
Sounds like a farily short and simple story about a long and convoluted path =)
