FF8 Sillyness (spoilers)
Stayed up till 7am(?) last "night" playing FF8. Started playing again at about 4 or 5.

Tonberrys are fun and easy to kill when you've got Squall permenatly set up in Limit Break mode =)

Ok, i was put in charge of the entire Balamb Garden quite awhile ago by Cid, so who the hell is the bastard who keeps docking my SeeD rank? When i find him, i'm either going to fire him or send him straight to the front lines in the next battle. >:)

FF8 has some of the _dumbest_ minigames. And The Junctioning system has some real problems. I'll get everything set up just right, and then some plot point will come along and they'll decide that they need to clear everyone's setup *grrrrr* I'm also annoyed by the fact that the Junction Switch automatically swaps all the spells as well without asking you. Normally this is nice, but sometimes it really sucks, and there's no other way to get junctions away from someone who isn't in the party *growls some more*

We've been MST3King the game to some extent throughout, but the begining of disk 3 is especially good.

The party has just defeated Edea, and Rinoa's in some kind of coma while Squall laments over her in the sick bay.

(as best as i can remember)

Squall: You're so cold and still.
Us: That's what happens when you're dead!
Us : She's cold and she's not moving, she's also starting to smell.
Squall:

Squall: You're so cold and still.
Us: That's what happens when you're <i>dead</i>!
Us <mimicking Squall>: She's cold and she's not moving, she's also starting to smell.
Squall: <some random depresed comment about Rinoa's state>
Us: Perhaps you should try casting Life on her?
Squall: Before you were so full of life.
Us: Yeah, she had about 100 of them. Oh wait, maybe trading them all to Quistis was a bad idea?
Squall: Now you're so silent.
Us: Perhaps you should cast esuna or use an echo screen on her as well.
Squall: It's like talking to a wall!
Us: No, Wall is an entirely <i>different</i> spell.

And which genius in the Esthar government thought "She got in a fight with Sorceress Edea, and ended up in a catatonic state with the exact same symptoms as Sorceress Adel. Perhaps we should sned her to where Adel is and see what happens."???

In honor of <lj user="tiercel">, even though i don't do it anywhere near as well as her =)
